Deepa earned her master’s degree in physical therapy in 2003 from Thomas Jefferson University. Over the years she has taken many continuing education courses in manual therapy and has certifications in vestibular care, concussion management (Impact), myofascial decompression (cupping), IASTM, and SFMA. She has spent most of her career treating orthopedic and sports related injuries to help her clients return to their favorite activities. Her own experiences during pregnancy and in the post-partum period inspired her to learn more about rehabilitation for these clients. She has taken several courses in pregnancy rehabilitation, post-partum rehabilitation, abdominal wall care,  and deep core activation with respiratory diaphragm.  She feels deeply about helping women feel their best during this time in their lives. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, family bike rides, hiking with the dog, gardening, travelling and also coaches the local GOTR team. She also speaks medical Spanish, helping to break down the language barrier that exisists for some patients.
