Dawn Marino-Smith, PTA

Patient Experience Coordinator & Physical Therapist Assistant

Dawn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Monmouth University in 1995, where she was a Division I softball player and in 2012, she was inducted into Monmouth University’s Hall of Fame.

In 1998, Dawn obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree from UCC as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

With a strong orthopedic background specializing in sports rehabilitation, post-operative care, and disorders of the spine and extremities, some of her clinical specialties include, functional foot and ankle rehabilitation, shoulder/hip/knee dysfunction-specializing in the overhead throwing athlete, cervical spine disorders-specializing in cervicogenic headaches and TMJ dysfunction.

Since joining Atlantic in 2004, Dawn has become one of the company’s longest-tenured team members and serves as the company’s Patient Experience Coordinator, helping ensure exceptional, patient-centered care.

Outside of work, Dawn lives in Freehold with her husband, Todd, and their three children. Their two daughters are business majors and collegiate softball players, while their son is a Special Olympics gold medalist in swimming. As a family, they are dedicated to giving back through their volunteer work with Special Olympics, supporting individuals with special needs, and participating in their church and local outreach programs whose mission is to provide essential items and support to those experiencing hardship.
