Kacie Hostman Ocean NJ Physical Therapist

Kacie Horstman, PT, DPT

Ocean Physical Therapist

Kacie’s path to physical therapy was a meaningful one. After initially pursuing clinical psychology and working for several years in a psychiatric hospital, Kacie realized she wanted a more hands-on role in helping people heal physically. With a long-standing interest in anatomy and physiology, she found her calling in physical therapy and never looked back.

Before PT school, Kacie spent three years working as a physical therapy aide, an experience that confirmed her passion for the field and allowed her to build strong foundations in patient care.

Kacie earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Rhode Island in 2025. She loves collaborating with patients to help them reach their goals, whether that means returning to sport, regaining mobility, or simply moving through daily life with more confidence.

Kacie enjoys working with athletes and has a growing interest in concussion rehabilitation as she continues to expand her clinical skills.

Outside of the clinic, Kacie volunteers with a local Challenger Baseball program, helping children of all abilities feel included and empowered through sport. She’s an avid hiker currently working toward hiking all 115 of the Northeast’s 4,000-foot peaks, and she also enjoys reading and traveling—making it a goal to visit a new place each year.
