Jared Burch, PT, DPT

Jared graduated from The University of Scranton with a B.S.in Exercise Science. He then continued to pursue his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rutgers University. During this time, he served as a strength and conditioning coach for a private gym working with athletes ranging from 8-80 years old.
After graduation he worked in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital treating patient diagnoses including but not limited to: amputee, trauma, stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury. Throughout this time, he also completed his specialization in vestibular assessment and management through the American Institute of Balance. He has served as a volunteer with the American Physical Therapy Association for the Academy of Orthopedics and Clinical Practice Guidelines Group. Jared has a peer reviewed research publication in the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies on force transmission through muscle tissue during resistance exercise. He has a passion for teaching and previously served as an adjunct faculty member at Kean University in the Department of Health and Human Performance.
He joined Atlantic Physical Therapy Center as the Clinic Director & Physical Therapist at the Freehold location in 2023.
What I like most about being a physical therapist is learning about other people. I enjoy helping patients achieve a better quality of life and less pain through physical medicine.
Hobbies outside of his professional career include skiing, fishing, hiking, and spending time with his wife and son.
