Lauren McNamara, PT, DPT
Lauren became a part of Atlantic Physical Therapy Center after having trained with various patient populations, including hand and upper extremity, neurologic and vestibular rehab, as well as general orthopedics. She graduated from Arcadia University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program in 2018 with Distinction and is currently completing fellowship training with the Virtual to Shoulder Institute, LLC. She plans to take the Certified Hand Therapist examination upon completion of her fellowship. Her interest for hand therapy began after her experience in outpatient hand therapy centers for 2.5 years gaining experience treating various complex cases, splinting, and wound care. Not only is she passionate for hand therapy, but continues to dedicate her time and research towards the treatment of patients in both the general orthopedic population including lower extremity, and neurologic populations, including Parkinson’s, Stroke, and vestibular rehab. Outside from helping patients reach their goals, she also enjoys spending time with her dogs and horse, as well as a wide variety of outdoor sports.
