Kimberly graduated from Springfield College in 1999 with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy and then went on to obtain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University. In 2006 she completed her Certification in Manual Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine. Soon after, Kimberly obtained her Certification and Board Specialty in Orthopedics from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
Following her orthopedic experience, Kim developed a passion for pelvic health physical therapy after her own postpartum struggles with pelvic floor weakness and incontinence. Kim continued her education in pelvic health physical therapy and is a certified pelvic rehabilitation practitioner specializing in the treatment of pelvic health impairments and dysfunction for females and males. She also specializes in visceral mobilization, myofascial release and abdominal physical therapy for the gastrointestinal, urinary and reproductive systems. Kim’s special interests also focus on breast cancer rehabilitation in physical therapy.
Kimberly continues to enhance her physical therapy skills and knowledge through teacher assisting for Herman and Wallace, a leading educational provider in pelvic health and visceral physical therapy. Beyond her physical therapy training and experience, she is a registered yoga instructor and certified in prenatal yoga. She continues to incorporate her knowledge and experience of yoga in her physical therapy approach with all of her patient populations.
In her spare time Kimberly enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She is an avid boater and has a passion for ocean fishing with her two sons. In the winter time you can find her skiing with her sons and enjoying the mountains.
