Victoria Garafalo, OTR/L
Victoria graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2015 with her Bachelors in Health Sciences and her Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2017. She joined the Atlantic Physical Therapy team in August 2019 as she pursues her dream of becoming a Certified Hand Therapist by completing the necessary 4,000 hours of work and training needed to sit for the CHT exam. Victoria has previous work experience within school systems and sensory integration clinics as a pediatric occupational therapist and as a per diem outpatient orthopedic therapist treating injuries of the hand, wrist, and elbow. Victoria’s desire to become a Certified Hand Therapist stems from her own personal experience with attending therapy after she was involved in a car accident where she fractured her wrist and required TFCC surgery. Victoria is devoted to her career as she finds it rewarding to help patients recover from injuries similar to her own.
