PHOENIX, Nov. 3, 2015 — WebPT announces Mike and Dave Manzo of Atlantic Physical Therapy as the winners of the 2015 Ascend Practice of the Year Award. This award, which honors a rehab therapy private practice that demonstrated exemplary business success over the last year, was presented at the Ascend summit that took place Sept. 18-19, 2015, in Chicago.

This is the first year for the Ascend Practice of the Year Award. Selection criteria are based on a practice’s ability to help its patients, engage its employees, practice community outreach and innovate within the industry.

“Atlantic Physical Therapy Center (APTC) is a very deserving inaugural honoree for this prestigious award,” said Heidi Jannenga, WebPT COO and Co-Founder. “The Manzos have built their 11-clinic practice on a foundation of clinical and operational excellence. With a commitment to both patient and employee satisfaction, they’ve successfully negotiated higher reimbursement rates with payers, while sharing the windfall with a quarterly bonus plan for all employees. APTC, now in their 14th year of serving patients in New Jersey, has set the bar high for all future award recipients.”

Mike and Dave Manzo said the award came as a pleasant surprise. “Every day, our incredible staff works hard at winning the respect of our clients by delivering great outcomes,” said Mike Manzo, Director of Clinical Operations at Atlantic Physical Therapy. “Winning the Ascend Practice of the Year Award validates all of our hard work, and we’re so incredibly honored to be recognized by WebPT.”
